Manganese oxides as water-oxidizing catalysts for artificial photosynthetic systems: The effect of support

摘要: Abstract Herein the effect of support on water-oxidizing activity amorphous Mn oxides was investigated. We used nanoparticles CuO, NiO, MgO, SiO2 or ZrO2 as and placed these oxides. The compounds were synthesized by a simple procedure characterized high-resolution transmission electron microscopy, X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, diffraction, Fourier transform infrared diffraction spectrometry. In next step, activities considered in presence cerium(IV) ammonium nitrate. found that efficiency oxide toward water oxidation depends upon nature support. A turnover frequency ∼5 based observed for NiO.
