摘要: Objectives To determine national adult immunization rates for influenza and pneumonia assess the effect of various predisposing factors on status both diseases. Design Retrospective, cross-sectional, random sample data from Centers Disease Control Prevention's 1999 Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance System survey. Data extraction analysis were conducted using SPSS STATA, with adjustments made weighted data. Participants Individuals aged 65years older individuals 50 to 64years (for only). Results Immunization in 65 age group 66.7% 53.8% pneumonia; rate 64 was 35.6%. Predisposing such as race (white) education (high school above) positively influenced status. Enabling income, health insurance, physician visits need-related comorbidities exhibited a strong relationship vaccination study populations. Health care coverage (odds ratio [OR] = 1.76 OR=1.66 group; OR=1.80 group) visit last year (OR 2.00 OR=1.87 OR=1.86 positive predictors those who perceived their being poor had high rates. Conclusion Understanding negative influences will allow pharmacists better identify target prospective recipients services.
