摘要: Abstract Background Since obesity and osteoporosis present a high genetic predisposition polymorphisms of IL-6, IL6R, LRP5, ESR1 SP7 may influence the risk both diseases, aim this study was to analyze possible association in these genes, as well their haplotypes, with BMD variations postmenopausal Mexican-Mestizo women grade 2 or 3 obesity. Methods One hundred eighty unrelated were included. measured total hip lumbar spine by dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry. DNA obtained from blood leukocytes. Rs1800795 rs2228145 rs3736228 rs9340799 (XbaI) rs2234693 (PvuII), ESR1, rs10876432 rs2016266, (and haplotypes), studied real-time PCR allelic discrimination. Deviations Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium tested. Pairwise linkage disequilibrium between single nucleotide calculated direct correlation r2, haplotype analysis conducted. Results Using WHO criteria, 54.5% had obesity, 45.5% Regarding DXA results, 11.1% osteoporosis, 41.7% osteopenia, 47.2% normal BMD. Genotype showed no significant differences at spine, femoral neck. Conclusions We did not find analyzed haplotypes The higher observed could be result an adaptive response loading skeleton.
