摘要: We examine the influence of gravity companion (the secondary) to massive primary star η Carinae on winds blown by and secondary. The two collide with each other after passing through respective shock waves, escape system while strongly emitting in X-ray band. While during most 5.5 yr orbital period companion's has a negligible effect winds, we find that near periastron may significantly flow, might accrete from primary's wind under certain circumstances. Near passage, collision region collapse onto secondary star, process could substantially reduce luminosity. suggest such an accretion produces long, almost flat, minimum Car.
