The aim of this study was to evaluate mid-term results operative treatment patellar included eight (10 operated knees) syndrome and associated instability. children's age ranged from 6 11 years (the mean 7 9 months). involved Green's quadricepsplasty six cases (eight augmented a modified Galeazzi procedure - semitendinosus tenodesis two cases. follow-up period 3 months. We achieved stabilization patellofemoral joint correction position patella seven knees (five these were treated Green combined procedure). did not observe any recurrence dislocation group during period. noted failures, defined as dislocation, months postoperatively. provides satisfactory younger In older children, we recommend procedure.
