摘要: Context.—The gastrointestinal tract is the most common site of extranodal lymphomas. Although all histologic categories malignant lymphoma develop in tract, large B-cell lymphomas predominate, followed by marginal zone mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) type; latter especially prevalent stomach. The acceptance MALT type as a clinicopathologic entity has reduced number cases that formerly were interpreted florid hyperplasia (“pseudolymphoma”). Nonetheless, distinction from small biopsy specimens remains problematic.
