摘要: Context.—The gastrointestinal tract is the most common site of extranodal lymphomas. Although all histologic categories malignant lymphoma develop in tract, large B-cell lymphomas predominate, followed by marginal zone mucosa-associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) type; latter especially prevalent stomach. The acceptance MALT type as a clinicopathologic entity has reduced number cases that formerly were interpreted florid hyperplasia (“pseudolymphoma”). Nonetheless, distinction from small biopsy specimens remains problematic. Objective.—To assess relevant morphologic, immunologic, molecular, and genetic properties to present feasible tactic for diagnosis, expressly specimens.
