摘要: To evaluate the role of mtDNA in breast cancer. We carried out an investigation into major control region or D-loop and essential largest protein-coding gene, NADH dehydrogenase subunit 5 (ND5), together with a mitochondrial haplogroup analysis 64 patients cancer (BC) 54 benign disease (BBD) as controls. Mutations were found 10/64 15.6% BC 14/54 25.9% BBD, while mutations ND5 detected 6/64 9.4% 5/54 9.3% BBD. In addition, more likely to rise be heteroplasmic. However, BC, those metastatic feature less carry region. Finally, we M has increased risk compared N. mutation may play early stage tumorigenesis, can also modulate occurrence.
