摘要: The change of the surface composition Au3Cu(001) induced by oxygen chemisorption was investigated means impact collision ion-scattering spectroscopy (ICISS) time flight version using 180° scattering 3 keV Ne+ ions. For clean surface, topmost layer found to be occupied almost completely Au atoms (∼95%) and second Cu (∼95%). Oxygen performed exposing crystal atomic produced on hot-W filament. With adsorption, in replaced with Au, respectively. Almost complete replacement elements first at high coverages. At low coverages, least two were one atom. From analysis polar scans ICISS signals, suggested located deeply 4-fold hollow site.
