摘要: The Glucosensor Unitec Ulm is the first portable glucose sensor for continuous monitoring in blood. weighs 850 g and has a size of 15 x 19 7 cm. Over 24 hr period 15-25 ml blood are withdrawn measurement, depending on pumping velocity. Its storing capacity data readings amounts to 32 KB. With "long-term glucograms" under near-normal conditions can be registered. glucograms enable physician recognize different deteriorations met- abolism eg. periods silent hypoglycemia during night as well postprandial hyperglycemia. degree glycemic control diabetic patients analyzed effect lowering therapeutics realistically assessed.
