Energy technology foresight in emerging economies

摘要: Abstract This paper offers a novel comprehensive conceptualization of Energy Technology Foresight (ETF) in emerging economies, including development trajectories, key methodological tools and elements, major challenges weaknesses. ETF allows the economies to provide basis for government's energy policy, create common vision among various actors strengthen RD integration foresight outcomes national corporate strategic planning; constant revision methodology; dominance economic, technological security considerations; inability catch-up with technology world leaders. Three case-studies (Russia, Brazil China) markets are presented illustrate substantiate conceptual approach. The is interest researchers that involved future studies, as well decision-makers, who commission such studies use their advance policy processes documents.
