Suicidal hanging: fatalities in Istanbul retrospective analysis of 761 autopsy cases.

摘要: We retrospectively analyzed the autopsy records of Institute Forensic Medicine during five-year period between 1998 and 2002 to document characteristics fatalities resulting from hanging which is commonest mode suicide in Istanbul. Upon analysis death scene investigation reports together with information gathered police, cases suicidal origin were selected.
