摘要: Abstract The biosorption potential of pine ( Pinus brutia Ten.) bark in a batch system for the removal Pb(II) ions from aqueous solutions was investigated. characteristics on investigated with respect to well-established effective parameters including effects solution pH, initial concentration, mass bark, temperature, and interfering present, reusability, desorption. Initial pH contact time were optimized 4.0 4 h, respectively. Langmuir Freundlich equilibrium adsorption models studied observed fit well. maximum capacity found be 76.8 mg g −1 by isotherms (mass bark: 1.0 g L ). kinetic data fitted pseudo-second-order model correlation coefficient greater than 0.99. thermodynamic Gibbs free energy (Δ G °), enthalpy H entropy S °) changes also calculated, values indicated that process spontaneous. Reutilization biosorbent feasible 90.7% desorption efficiency using 0.5 M HCl. It concluded can used as an effective, low cost, environmentally friendly solution.
