摘要: Retrotransposons are present in multi-copy numbers that integrated into plant genomes with considerable heterogeneous sequences within a single and between species, which allows the use of retrotransposons as additional sources DNA polymorphism. A primer design for sequence-tagged specific site cleaved amplified polymorphic (STS-CAPs) derived from retrotransposon-like was developed molecular marker analysis Hibiscus syriacus. This method applied detection sequence variations intact exist genomes, resulted higher polymorphisms than fragment length polymorphism (AFLP). Through STS-CAPs, fingerprinting data among H. syriacus varieties can be easily distinguished generated reproducible results. It could also adapted to any species possess varietal identification well assessment genetic relationships.
