摘要: Cardiac utilisation of very-low-density lipoprotein (VLDL) and chylomicrons (CM) was investigated in the ZDF rat model type 2 diabetes, order to define role triacylglycerol (TAG) metabolism development contractile dysfunction. Hearts from obese diabetic lean littermate control rats were perfused with VLDL CM rats. Metabolic fate TAG function examined. Myocardial both VLDL- CM-TAG increased state. Diabetic hearts oxidised lipoprotein-TAG a greater extent than lipoproteins; glucose oxidation decreased. There no difference assimilation into heart lipids; lipoproteins were, however, poor substrate for tissue lipid accumulation. Although proportion exogenous incorporated lipoproteins, this effect not seen lipoproteins. heparin-releasable lipase (LPL) activity moderately state, tissue-residual LPL activity. hydraulic work decreased only CM. Compositional analysis variant indicated changes size apoprotein content. Alterations cardiac TAG-rich diabetes are due myocardium particle; is related accumulation but may be associated TAG-fatty acid oxidation.
