摘要: A process is disclosed for controlling inflammatory tissue access through release of neuropeptides, such as substance P (sP), to insulin-responsive sensory neurons, whereby simultaneous control insulin sensitivity/resistance manifested. In models Type 1 and 2 diabetes, afferents, in particular TRPV1, have fundamental roles insulin/glucose homeostasis, islet physiology autoimmune inflammation. By manipulation the TRPV1 neuro-β-cell circuit or enhancement pancreatic sP levels, normalization resistance, clearance inflammation prevention both diabetes realized.
