摘要: Leukocyte recruitment in response to inflammatory signals is part governed by interactions between endothelial cell receptors belonging the Ig superfamily and leukocyte integrins. In our previous work, human glycoprotein Thy-1 (CD90) was identified as an activation-associated adhesion molecule on dermal microvascular cells. Furthermore, interaction of with a corresponding ligand monocytes polymorphonuclear cells shown be involved these leukocytes activated Thy-1-expressing this study, we have specific integrin Mac-1 (CD11b/CD18; alphaMbeta2) both cellular systems purified form. Monocytes were adhere transfectants expressing well primary endothelium subsequent transendothelial migration mediated Mac-1. This additional pathway leukocyte-endothelium may play important role regulation sites inflammation.
