摘要: The aim of the present study was to compare clinical and endocrinological effects four different treatments for induction abortion in bitches. For this purpose, 28 pregnant bitches between days 25 35 gestation, were randomly assigned groups. In group I (n = 7), only aglepristone (AGL, 10mg/kg bw, two injections 24 h apart, s.c.) administered. II AGL (as I), cabergolin (CAB, 5 μg/kg, daily p.o., until completion abortion) misoprostol (MIS, 200 μg with ≤ 20 kg 400 > intravaginally, III I) MIS II) IV 7) AGL, cloprostenol (CLO, 1μg/kg s.c., apart injections) combined. all groups, examined daily, clinically ultrasonographically monitor resorptions/abortions. To measure serum progesterone (P4) total estrogen (TE) concentrations, blood samples collected groups immediately after first administration every other day abortion. No statistical differences found concerning duration following treatment (n.s.); however, Group III, 6 d start pregnancies terminated whereas I, IV, 57.1% (4/7), 85.7 % (6/7) 42.8 (3/7) terminated. latter 8 10 treatment. P4 concentrations on one before beginning started significantly lower than (P 0.05). Groups no severe side occurred. Severe vomiting each end observed only. conclusion, when a combination used completed within additional use CAB did not improve
