摘要: Abstract In recent years, the Brazilian electricity sector has seen a considerable reduction in hydroelectric production and an increase dependence on complementation of thermoelectric power plants to meet energy demand. This issue led greenhouse gas emissions, which intensified climate change modified rainfall regimes several regions country, as well increased cost energy. The use floating PV coordinated operation with can establish mutual compensation between these sources replace large portion that comes from thermal sources, thereby reducing for hydropower complementation. Thus, this paper presents procedure technically economically sizing plants. A case study focused Sao Francisco River basin, where there been intense droughts results optimized design show panel tilt approximately 3° generate at lowest (from R$298.00/MWh R$312.00/MWh, depending geographical location FLOATING platform reservoir). From perspective, average gain generated by plant after adding generation was 76%, whereas capacity factor 17.3% average. terms equivalent inflow, source seasonal profile compliments natural inflow river. Overall, proposed could much Brazil.
