摘要: Aim  A deficit in non-word repetition (NWR), a measure of short-term phonological memory proposed as marker for language impairment, is found not only impairment but also reading impairment. We evaluated the strength association between and children with current, past, no assessed any differential NWR, compared two other tests verbal without impairment. Method  Our sample comprised aged 6–16y 11mo participating study genetics impairment: 78 from 68 families (53 males, 25 females) current (C-LI), their 74 siblings: (18 seven past history 49 (27 22 who had never The used were Clinical Evaluation Language Fundamentals (CELF III), Children’s Test Non-word Repetition (CN-Rep), Wide Range Assessment Memory Learning (WRAML) index, Wechsler Intelligence Scale Children-III (WISC-III) digit span, Objective Reading Dimensions (WORDUK). Results  was present two-thirds NWR deficits significantly worse decoding (p=0.007 0.004 – average group borderline definitely impaired groups respectively) or spelling (p=0.002 0.005 severely (not correlated severity impairment) comprehension In contrast, WISC span WRAML all did differentiate those impairment. Interpretation  suggest that ability may be process specifically underlying co-occurring involving spelling, rather than generic correlate Other appear to pervasive
