摘要: The G1 and G2 glycoproteins of Punta Toro virus, a member the bunyaviruses, are targeted to Golgi complex, where viral budding occurs. We found that protein, when expressed in absence G2, is also complex. A series proteins truncated at carboxyl-terminal region was constructed, localization examined. It from constructs with partial deletions cytoplasmic domain were transported complex significantly slower rate than G1. Although major fraction these eventually they did not exhibit as clearly defined pattern accumulation G1, but rather appeared be distributed throughout endoplasmic reticulum well lacking most and, some cases, part transmembrane sequences cell surface. have constructed chimeric envelope protein murine leukemia virus (MCFenv), which efficiently plasma membrane. MCF-G1 chimera contained domains retained construct only partially Thus, portion adjacent apparently crucial for retention protein.
