摘要: The electron energy bands in a semiconductor quantum wire general are expected to show wave vector dependent spin splitting with terms proportional k3. We that the dependence gives rise strong asymmetry of electron-electron pair scattering respect subbands. one consequence this is new physical effect: Spontaneous Spin Polarization. An polarization device based on effect proposed. operating principle explained and limits discussed.
