Intramedullary tuberculoma: A case report

摘要: Abstract Study design We report a case of intra-medullary tuberculoma in 22year-old man with progressive paraparesis and sphincter dysfunction. Objectives To present tuberculosis to describe the MRI's contribution diagnosis. Summary background data Intra-medullary spinal is rare form central nervous system tuberculosis. The subject diagnosis methods patient, man, presented an dorsal cord diagnosed after 6month history MRI visualized ring enhancement lesion. Results Total resection mass was performed through posterior myelotomy. Histological examination revealed granulomatous necrosis caseum. patient treated four anti-tuberculosis drugs association corticotherapy. dysfunction improved. Conclusions rare, but must be considered differential compression.
