摘要: Abstract One hundred and thirty-five sera from aged Mastomys were screened for the presence of spontaneously occurring autoantibodies using an indirect immunofluorescence technique. Such antibodies appeared to be relatively frequent a number different tissue specificities observed. Autoantibodies observed cytoplasmic antigens in liver cells, thyroid follicular renal proximal tubular striated smooth muscle, gastric parietal nuclear factors, colloid, erythrocytes. Several antibody present most sera, with maximum six median value three per Mastomys. Anti-striational myasthenic type anti-colloid belonged IgG class, antierythrocyte IgM classes, other types class. From preliminary histopathological data it appears that spectrum Mastomys, only directed colloid could associated distinct changes (i.e., lymphoplasmacellular thyroiditis). Although striational as found patients myasthenia gravis common clinical signs increased muscular weakness lacking acetylcholine receptors absent. The multiplicity this species together abnormalities immune system make promising model study basic mechanisms underlying autoimmunity.
