摘要: Kozlu is a mining town only 5 km away from the main city of Zonguldak and initially was not favored for settlement due to its rugged hilly topography. However, along with hard coal production in large quantities throughout years came industrialization at full speed plenty job opportunities which then gave rise intense population region where there were few sheds slums just century ago. Workers migrating thousands needed dwellings live in, but law, so-called Coal Basin Restrictions Law effect 1910, hindered implementation zoning plans. Planned housing possible until abolishment law 1986. During these 76 years, area mostly by industry workers carried out without proper plans, usually on demand basis. Today because this unplanned harsh topography, (KSA) has history being attraction point many natural man-made disasters can be summarized as are geological carstic structure, activities mass movements. In study, suitability map produced study using geographic information system. The designated into four zones, namely suitable settlement, slightly precautions unsuitable settlement. It clearly shows that 24.73% lies areas while bulky rest pertains latest studies show 37.5% buildings houses KSA situated lithologic units identified hydrogeological permeable semipermeable, 7.8% caverns hefty rate 47.6% surfaces deformed mining-induced subsidence. Therefore, it needless claim administrators should promptly develop plan welfare city.
