摘要: Over the last few years, field of microribonucleic acid (miRNA) in cardiovascular biology and disease has expanded at an incredible pace. miRNAs are themselves part a larger family, that non-coding RNAs, importance which for biological processes is starting to emerge. ∼22-nucleotide-long RNA sequences can legate messenger (m)RNAs partially complementary binding sites, hence regulate rate protein synthesis by altering stability targeted mRNAs. In system, have been shown be critical regulators development physiology. They control basic functions virtually all cell types relevant system (such as endothelial cells, cardiac muscle, smooth inflammatory fibroblasts) and, thus, directly involved pathophysiology many diseases. As result their role disease, they being studied exploitation diagnostics, prognostics, therapeutics. However, there still significant obstacles need overcome before enter clinical arena. We present here review literature outline directions toward use clinic.
