摘要: Abstract Towards the effort of reducing pollutant emissions, especially soot and nitrogen oxides, from direct injection Diesel engines, engineers have proposed various solutions, one which is use a gaseous fuel as partial supplement for liquid fuel. These engines are known dual combustion i.e. they conventional well. This technology currently reintroduced, associated with efforts to overcome difficulties HCCI using fuels. The natural gas an alternative promising solution. potential benefits in both economical environmental. high autoignition temperature serious advantage since compression ratio can be maintained. present contribution describes experimental investigation conducted on single cylinder DI engine, has been properly modified operate under conditions. primary amount one, ignited by pilot injection. Comparative results given engine speeds loads operation, revealing effect performance exhaust emissions.
