摘要: The advent of second-generation sequencing (2GS) has provided a range significant new challenges for the visualization sequence assemblies. These include large volume data being generated, short-read lengths and different types formats associated with diversity technologies. This article illustrates how Tabletca high-performance graphical viewer 2GS assemblies read mappingscplays an important role in analysis these data. We present Tablet, through selection use cases, demonstrate its value quality assurance scientific discovery, features such as whole-reference coverage overviews, variant highlighting, paired-end mark-up, GFF3-based feature tracks protein translations. discuss computing techniques utilized to provide rich responsive environment that enables users view file ease. Tablet installers can be freely downloaded from http://bioinf.hutton.ac.uk/tablet 32 or 64 -bit versions Windows, OS X, Linux Solaris. For further details on contact tablet@hutton.ac.uk.
