摘要: Background The prevalence of atopic disorders is reduced in patients with various autoinflammatory diseases but, to our knowledge, this association has not been studied psoriasis vulgaris or psoriatic arthritis (PSA). Objective Prevalence hay fever, asthma, and sensitization common aeroallergens was compared PSA control subjects; we also investigated whether atopy influences the activity severity scores PSA. Methods In a cross-sectional cohort study design, differences patient-reported lifetime serum IgE directed against were compared. effect on assessed using 28-joint Disease Activity Score Health Assessment Questionnaire. Logistic regression models used calculate crude adjusted odds ratios 95% confidence intervals (CI) for presence atopy. Results A total 168 PSA, 133 vulgaris, 147 subjects included. fever did differ across groups. Patients less likely have had asthma than (adjusted ratio 0.20; CI 0.04-0.92) they be sensitized 0.50; 0.25-0.99). Questionnaire-visual analog scales pain patient global score significantly by (beta-coefficients −0.54 [95% −0.84 −0.25] −18.4 −28.5 −8.25], respectively.) Limitations This cross-sectional, small-numbered study. Conclusion Atopy may protect development diminish its severity.
