摘要: Neurofibromatosis, type 1 (NF1) is a very common inherited disorder that was first described in the late 19th century. NF1 associated with myriad of behavioral manifestations addition to its frequent and often severe medical physical complications. Learning disability, cognitive impairment, emotional psychosocial difficulties have been reported so frequently neurofibromatosis these are considered hallmarks. This report briefly introduces characteristics NF1. We then detail additional discussion possible etiologies for high incidence difficulties. MRDD Research Reviews 2000;6:117-124.
