摘要: Background Patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) report a range of nutritional and dietary problems high-quality written information should be available on these. There is little research investigating the availability quality such for patients IBD. Objective This study assessed type nutrition diet to IBD opinions health professionals. Setting Participants Seventy-two were recruited from large gastroenterology outpatient centre in England. One hundred dietitians across United Kingdom also recruited. Methods Face-to-face surveys conducted IBD. Questions regarding use, format usefulness received probed. Dietitians surveyed used clinical practice. Samples IBD-specific UK objectively using two validated tools. Main Results The majority rated as ‘good’ or ‘very good’, most useful relating ‘general IBD’. Forty-nine (49%) reported gaps Fifty-three different samples sheets returned, widely variable objective ratings. Commercially produced scored greater than locally (BMA tool, P < 0.05).
