摘要: In this paper we outline a vision for human factors/ergonomics and sustainability in the 21st century. The extends updates earlier work by Moray (1995) which posed number of global challenges discipline HFE. particular point to several trends priorities within HFE, these include: shift away from specialization towards trans-disciplinarity; greater emphasis on systems complexity HFE as compared an focus micro-ergonomics; emergence values ethics central concerns discipline; moving mitigation adaptation intervention our efforts tackle issues sustainability; and, importance local, tailored devolved solutions problems such climate change disaster resilience. Our overall aim is motivate challenge researchers practitioners further address confront some priorities. well-placed make significant contributions resolving hope that progress can be made coming decades.
