摘要: Systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis (RA) are two of the most common rheumatologic diseases diagnosed in women. Both SLE RA frequently start women reproductive age have significant implications for pregnancy. Use contraceptive methods these conditions has been controversial past due to concerns regarding potential worsening disease activity, increased risk cardiovascular complications, or infection with certain setting immunosuppressive treatment. The primary risks from use hormonal contraceptives involve thrombogenic risks, particularly those positive antiphospholipid antibodies. best available evidence does not indicate a activity inactive stable active who contraceptives. Therefore, exception at thrombosis presence antibodies, benefits contraception outweigh SLE. All appear safe RA, progestin-only injectables greatest osteoporosis. Overall, must be weighed against unplanned pregnancy during period severe while on teratogenic medications.
