摘要: Abstract This paper traces the rehabilitation and restoration of Collingwood Harbour's ecosystem establishes that targets set to delist Harbour as one 43 North American Areas Concern were met 1994. Numerous actions ameliorate environmental problems rehabilitate harbor have been implemented. In so doing, conditions support uses goals identified by Public Advisory Committee community realized. The process cleaning up protecting has an extensive one, involving 8 years legislative, organizational, information-gathering efforts a far-reaching program public consultation participation. Extensive with agency scientists, government officials, International Joint Commission, Collingwood, at large resulted in unified consent established for community-driven cleanup met, fact, surpassed.
