摘要: In the present study, in-depth characterization of high-velocity oxy-fuel (HVOF)-spray WC-Co-Cr and CoNiCrAlY coatings deposited on CA6NM turbine steel was done using scanning electron microscope (SEM), x-ray diffraction (XRD), roughness tester, microhardness optical image analyzer. Further, these were tested under accelerated slurry erosion conditions a high-speed test rig. The effects three different parameters related to actual operating conditions, namely erodent velocity relative target surface, average particle size, concentration behavior coatings, investigated. SEM images specimen surface taken before after tests carefully examined understand possible mechanism. study revealed that HVOF-sprayed coating found impart higher resistance in comparison with all conditions. reason for this may be attributed hardness WC-10Co-4Cr coating.
