摘要: The effects of radiation on the release mitogenic factors into media cultured endothelial cells bovine, porcine, and human origins were studied. Although unirradiated controls revealed a significant background activity, single doses irradiation (20–60 Gy) resulted in dose-related increased growth factor measured by conditioned both 3T3 mouse fibroblasts serving as target cells. Receptor binding competition assays for platelet-derived receptor that 12–28% total activity was due to factor-like mitogens. Mitogenic using specific antibody mediated inhibition suggested another component fibroblast factor. increase cell death, enhanced activities did not appear result from lysis-related leakage intracellular stores factors.
