Here we describe some the unique challenges stem from encounter between modern medical practice world. Through examples clinical ethical scenarios ranging prenatal care to end-of-life decisions, illustrate problems related observance age-old practices hospital setting, balancing acceptance Divine will with standard risk assessment, reconciliation patient autonomy deference rabbinic authority fear stigma associated mental illness traditional society.
