摘要: Abstract Optimal management of synchronous colorectal liver metastases demands a well-organized inter-disciplinary strategy by surgeon, oncologist and radiologist. Over the past decade, advances in strategies patient with liver-limited have incredibly improved overall prognosis. This review discusses made patients cancer metastases. A literature search was performed, using following databases: PubMed, SCOPUS sciencedirect, EMBASE, NHS Knowledge Network. The retrieved articles were assessed for relevance inclusion this review. illustrates that although currently surgery offers best chance cure metastases, majority are not initially resectable due to size, anatomic location, extent disease, inadequate remnant volume, or comorbidities. necessitates other treatment modalities control downsize hepatic lesions before embarking on surgical intervention. Systemic regional chemotherapy complements patients.
