摘要: Testicular germ cell tumours, seminoma (SE) and non-seminoma (NS), of young adult men develop from a precursor cell, carcinoma in situ (CIS), which resembles foetal gonocytes retains embryonic pluripotency. We used microarrays to analyse microRNA (miRNA) expression 12 human testis samples with CIS cells compared it miRNA profiles normal testis, Sertoli-cell-only that lacks cells, tumours (SE embryonal (EC), an undifferentiated component NS) male female gonads. Principal components analysis revealed distinct characteristic for each the different tissue types. identified several miRNAs were unique gonads tumours. These included hsa-miR-371-373 -302-367 clusters have previously been reported three (hsa-miR-96, -141 -200c) also expressed epididymis. found upregulated tumours: hsa-miR-9, -105 -182-183-96 highly SE, while hsa-miR-515-526 cluster was high EC. conclude profile changes during development shares similarities gonocytes.
