Complementary treatment in fibromyalgia: combination of somatic and abdominal acupuncture.

摘要: Fibromyalgia is a complex syndrome characterised by widespread pain associated with variety of other signs and symptoms. The emerging consensus indicates that the best approach to treatment involves combination pharmacological non-pharmacological interventions. Since acupuncture tool traditional Chinese medicine increasingly used as an alternative or complementary therapy for pain, present study aimed combine two different acupunctural methods (the somatic abdominal one) in 30 consecutive female FM patients evaluate reduction well-being state. results showed statistically significant number tender points pain. Moreover we observed FIQ, FAS, HAQ, disease activity VAS, ZSAS, ZSDS at end treatment. In conclusion, these data suggest types could be useful patients, not only control but also improve symptoms quality life. As result, very relieve multidisciplinary setting.
