摘要: Publisher Summary Epidermal growth factor (EGF), a single chain polypeptide, belongs to new class of cytomodulatory factors that are hormone-like in their biological potencies. EGF-like polypeptides may be produced during tumorigenesis by the reactivation genes expressed only development embryo. The EGF-receptor system has been an important stimulus ideas on mechanism receptor-mediated ligand endocytosis. EGF receptor is multifunctional, multidomain protein, whose inherent kinase function activated after interacts with its external binding site. stimulates DNA synthesis/cell division variety cell types. action and mitogenesis. In addition, it provided some insights into vital processes occur embryogenesis development, tumorigenic transformation animals.
