Extraction of morphological features from biological models and cells by fourier analysis of static light scatter measurements

摘要: Models of biological cells varying geometric complexity were used to generate data test a method extracting features from light scatter distributions. Measurements the dynamic range and angular distribution intensity these models was compared distributions predicted by complete theory (Mie) diffraction (Fraunhofer). An approximation Fraunhofer provides means obtaining size shape spectrum analysis. Experimental verification using nucleated erythrocytes as material show potential application this for extraction important parameters data.
