摘要: Flow microphotometry, a term we have coined to describe the unique flow systems developed over last few years at Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory (LASL), allows quantitative precision measurements be made of optical properties individual mammalian cells. Mammalian cells in suspension are pass through special chamber where they lined up, one time, for exposure blue light from an argon ion laser. As each cell crosses laser beam, it produces or more pulses duration equal transit time across beam. These detected, amplified, and analyzed using essentially techniques γ-ray spectroscopy.
