摘要: Context: Eremostachys laciniata (L.) Bunge (Lamiaceae), which has been reported as a rich source of flavonoids, is one the rarely explored species genus Eremostachys. Objective: In this study, crude methanol extract and different fractions E. were investigated for in vivo anti-inflammatory properties.Material methods: Shade-dried leaves exhaustively extracted by percolation with (80%) to obtain 250 g (El), followed fractionation organic solvents get n-hexane (Elh), chloroform (Elc), ethyl acetate (Ele), butanol (Elb), water (Elw) fractions. An study sub-crude was carried out rats using carrageenan model. Results: The Ele fraction found be most potent inhibitor edema formation inducing maximum inhibitory effect 74.2% at 300 mg/kg dose, during 3 h post injection.
