摘要: The aim of this study was to assess the respective impacts surface energy and roughness bare coated steels on biofouling sanitisation. Bioadhesion Staphylococcus aureus CIP 53.154 studied two stainless steel surfaces with smooth or specific micro-topography. Two coatings were also studied: silicon oxide (hydrophilic) polysiloxane (hydrophobic). On surfaces, adhesion reduced an apolar coating cell viability increased polarity. A micro-topography decreased level bacterial by a factor ten. surface, only single adherent cells observed, contrasting in clusters smoother surfaces. As consequence, repartition influenced viability. Most isolated dead whereas still alive. In addition, quaternary ammonium chloride used sanitisation, acted at once both as tensio-active molecule biocide. It displaced but did not remove them.
