摘要: Studies of the distribution South American taxa have identified several areas endemism that may contributed to historical diversification region. We constructed a phylogeny Glyphorynchus spirurus (Aves: Dendrocolaptidae) populations using mtDNA sequence data from portions cytochrome b, NADH dehydrogenase subunit II (ND2), and complete III (ND3). Using this we evaluate five previous hypotheses area-relationships, two based on phylogenetic studies morphological characters in birds three parsimony analysis primates. Maximum likelihood maximum analyses recovered differed placement one areas. Within each endemism, support same clades. Neither for exactly matches any although ambiguous exists them. Five areas-Central America, Inambari, Napo, Para, Rondonia-are supported as composites with component having affinities more than area. Data reported here also indicate high levels divergence within Glyphorynchus. Genetic breaks are only partially congruent subspecific taxonomy. The regional sampling design used makes study largest scale genetic assay widespread Neotropical avian taxon published date.
