摘要: Introduction: Repeated measles outbreaks in countries with relatively high vaccine coverage are mainly due to failure vaccinate and importation; however, cases immunized individuals exist raising questions about suboptimal vaccine-induced humoral immunity and/or waning a low measles-exposure environment.Areas covered: The plaque reduction neutralization measurement of functional measles-specific antibodies correlates protection is the gold standard serology, but it does not assess cellular-immune or other parameters that may be associated durable protective after vaccination. Additional long-term new determinants/signatures responsiveness such as specific CD46 IFI44L genetic variants neutralizing antibody titers vaccination under investigation. Current future systems biology studies, coupled technology/assays analytical approache...
