摘要: Mean platelet volume (MPV) is a marker of activation. An increased MPV associated with acute myocardial infarction (AMI) and long-term mortality. The aim this study was to compare in patients ST-segment elevation (STEMI) non-ST-segment (NSTEMI). Also, we investigated the value on in-hospital mortality prognosis STEMI NSTEMI. We studied 429 AMI (70.4% male, 61.9 ± 12.4 years; 279 STEMI, 150 NSTEMI). count were similar both groups. Elevated risk death by 3.1-fold (p 11.1 fL versus 9.9% <11.1 < 0.001). Cox regression analysis showed be an independent predictor two-year (Hazard ratio 1.7; 95% CI 1.5-1.9; p STEMI. However, elevated levels did not predict hospital NSTEMI group. increase values independently correlated all patients.
