摘要: To explore the mechanism of increased collagen deposition in scirrhous carcinoma stomach, an attempt was made to define role transforming growth factor beta 1 (TGF-beta 1), secreted from tumour cells, as a possible humoral which functions paracrine manner stimulate production regional fibroblasts. Immunohistochemical staining revealed that cells carcinomas were generally stained more intensively than those other types carcinomas. On Northern blot analysis established (KATO-III, OCUM-1 and HSC-39) exhibited relatively strong signals compared with non-scirrhous (MKN-28 MKN-45). In culture media active form TGF-beta detected, while latent demonstrated by both colony radioreceptor assays. The medium KATO-III showed stimulating activity synthesis fibroblasts, this partially neutralised anti-TGF-beta antibody. These results suggest produce active-form does thus is responsible for observed enhanced region.
