Consumer reflections on the usage of plastic bags to parcel hot edible items: an empirical study in Malaysia

摘要: Abstract The packaging industry offers a wide range of pouching products to their clients in the food and beverage industries, healthcare industries households as well. It is observed that are widely used seemingly making them indispensable. Such practices commonly found Malaysia especially parcel hot or cold food. use pouches raises two concerns namely solid waste disposal safety. present study more than 62% consumers purchase edible items plastic bags daily weekly because its cost effectiveness storage convenience. Consumers apparently unperturbed by public campaigns against neither do government regulations have any influence reduce items. On other hand, optimistic environmental health hazards from store would only see positive impact future.
