摘要: A population-based study of children with hemiplegic cerebral palsy (CP) was performed to investigate whether thrombophilic tendencies are implicated in the aetiology condition. Thirty-eight (23 males, 15 females; mean age 8.7 years, SD 4.1 years) CP were ascertained. Twenty-seven children(18 nine 8.4 4.3) gave consent for inclusion. The non-study group comprised five males and six 9.4 4.1. In children, seven 'abnormalities' identified. Five these abnormalities an equivocal nature probably did not represent true clinical thrombophilia; reasons this interpretation discussed. Contrary other published non-population-based studies, we have shown association between thrombophilia CP. More including maternal required explore complex subject further.
